Homeschool Outing

Where learning and fun come together!

Join us for Homeschool Outing, a program designed to bring homeschool students together for a fun combination of education, recreation, creativity, and social interaction.

Each outing offers something different, giving students an opportunity to learn new things, try new activities, make friends, and have fun along the way.

How Homeschool Outings Work

Each meeting begins with an engaging session led by members of 4-H. Students learn about upcoming events, explore information from the 4-H newsletter, and participate in topics and activities selected especially for them.

After the 4-H session, the Burke County Recreation Department takes over with a recreational activity for the group.

Something Different Each Month

Activities vary from month to month, so there's always something new for students to experience. Outings may include:

Homeschool Outings provide opportunities for students to explore their interests, spark creativity, practice teamwork, stay active, and connect with other homeschool families.
